More Summer Fun

It seems like all we do these days is hang out in the pool. How lazy is that! Today Olivia and the kids came over with Olivia's friend Ashley and we spent about 7 hours in the pool with a break in between for something to eat! Can you believe that? Of course, there are no photos of me as I'm the photographer. Can't say I'm complaining about that, but believe me, I was in on all the fun too!
Katelynn and Christopher both wear floaties, but they are doing so well and are gaining confidence all the time. See Christopher's boo-boo on his chin. He did that the other day and it's turned into quite a nasty bruise, but it didn't get him down at all.

See how Katelynn and Christopher are doing in the water. They have so much fun!

Shenanigans

It seems like all we do these days is go in the pool. Well, it's about 105F outside and the pool is 86F so I think that gives you a clue as to why!

Handstands...can you tell which legs belong to who?
This is the answer!
How about bare bums? I don't know whether its all boys in general, or just mine, but they like to moon at every opportunity! They figure Mom's a nurse and she's seen it all before!
The two culprits.

Pool (and cool) videos

Here's a few videos of the boys playing. They look far more pixelated on here, but oh well, you get the jist of it I guess.

Damn pigeons

We have discovered that we have a pigeon problem. Their favorite place to sit is on the roof at the front of our house over our bedroom. Yep...lots of pigeon noise first thing in the morning. We also have lots of pigeon poop right near the front door, some feathers and the occasional dead chick as it has fallen out of its nest in the gutter. If we were going to stay long term in this house I would go to the expense of having them "removed", but I think I can live with it for a little while longer. Here are the some of the culprits invading my back yard and a particularly good shot of one on the roof, taken from the back of my yard while I was sat watching the boys in the pool. Now if only I had a pellet gun handy...

Water Dawg!

The first night we moved into our house last November, Max fell into the icy cold pool. Thankfully he was on a lead and Brent dragged him over to the steps and helped him out. I was never really quite sure whether he could swim or not, but here is the evidence. He can!!!He particularly likes to chase Jordan and wants to "bite" him, he gets so excited and wants to be part of the fun.

It's Official

The baby of my babies is officially engaged! Last Friday, the 27th May, Jordan popped the question to Britney and she said YES!!! Here is a sneek look at the ring. Engagement pictures are going to be taken at the end of this month.

Be nice or leave

I saw this in Ross yesterday for the bargain price of $4 and I thought it was so applicable to my house. Actually, I think it's a necessary reminder for all households where there are adult children who still live at home (and husbands too!). Now my only dilemma is which prominent spot can I put it in?
