As I was driving to work at 6.15 this morning, I came across one of these guys just down the road from my house. In the darkness, I thought that it was a dog at first and braked a little to avoid it, but the coyote just stood on the opposite side of the road and stared at me while I drove on by.As a Brit, I still find it amazing to see wildlife such as this out on the streets in developed areas. After all, the only wildlife I really recall seeing back home were the soccer hooligans around town on a Saturday afternoon. :)
